Welcome to our FAQ's (Frequently Asked Questions)! Here you will find information on how to dress for a sports massage, what to expect, scheduling and more. Please contact me if you have any questions.
WHAT TO WEAR?
The attire you wear depends primarily on the level of comfortability you have with a massage. We always drape the sheets and blanket accordingly for privacy. Please take a look at these pictures to see what works for you. Most people either keep their underwear on or come in gym shorts. Women who are getting a sports massage ideally wear short gym shorts and a sports bra. To get your upper body worked on ideally we recommend not having anything on. As Always we invite you to dress to your level of comfortability.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I GET A SPORTS MASSAGE?
Depending on your age and if your pain level is acute or maintenance determines how often you should get a sports massage. Generally, if you are in maintenance its ideal to get a sports massage once every 4 to 6 weeks. We always take into consideration time, budget and other circumstances, therefore you can also come in when you feel things starting to get tight.
For those who are in an acute phase, we recommend once a week to two weeks to get out of pain and then taper off. For those of us who are under 30, it takes about 2 sessions to get back into maintenance. Those of us who are 30-55 about 3-4 sessions, and those of us who are above 55 it can definitely take longer.
We always recommend our clients drink lots of water, roll out and choose the ideal amount of fitness in your recovery process.
